School lunches still free, but not for much longer

USD 382 continues to offer free summer lunches to community kids 18 years old and younger, but when school starts in the fall, there will be changes.
The waiver from Congress for free lunches has expired and students will be charged for each meal they take beginning in June 2023. Free and Reduced Applications will be available for families in the LMS office the week of June 25.
Until the end of next month, however, local children are welcome to get free summer lunches, no paperwork needed.
